We decided to embark on a new type of "exposé" in this chat. Instead of the traditional convincing people to cyber with us, we decided it would be funny to impersonate a devout Christian, who, as you will read, was shunned by her church. This may be a sensitive topic for some of you, and we fully understand that, yet, it is strange how people who claim to be very forgiving and have no hate, do in fact, hate pretty severely. <girlpower> but my family has been at this church for 20 years
<ChikenRob> and that is significant because?
<girlpower> I don't like change...but they think it's wrong to like people of the
same sex

<ChikenRob> thats what the Bible teaches
<girlpower> so you think I'm wrong because I like women?
<ChikenRob> The Bible uses Homosexuality as an example of a depth of Godlessness.

<ChikenRob> I think it's a pointless wast of energy, just like doing any sin
<Starlyte> God intended relationships to be hetrosexual within a marrage committment
<Starlyte> however, I also believe that it is not a church's place to judge
<Starlyte> it is God's
<girlpower> so even if two people love eachother, their bond is wrong?

<Starlyte> If your church shuns you for being the way you are then they outta
be shunning all the other people who sin as well
<Starlyte> which means no one would be able to enter the building
<girlpower> what do you think if two people of different religions got married then?
is that also a sin?
<ChikenRob> it's haveing sexual relations that God teaches us is not a good idea
<girlpower> yes, but it's only natural for people to want to have sex
<Starlyte> girl personally...I have done alot of studying and have come to a
conclusion that
<ChikenRob> It dosen't matter what is and isn't sin
<Starlyte> having homosexual feelings is not a sin....acting on them is
<ChikenRob> Christians are set free from sin
<Starlyte> girl that which you claim as "natural" is of the flesh
<Starlyte> va part we are not supposed to submit to
<ChikenRob> If what you are interested in a relationship with God, go ahead and have
one, if you are interested in winngn the favor of other people in the Church, you are
wasteing your time
<Starlyte> I think your church was wrong in turning you away
<Starlyte> they should love you as Christ would love you
<Starlyte> but Christ wouldn't just love you, he would challenge you to search your
heart and change your life
<Starlyte> he did that of everyone he met
<ChikenRob> Jesus never seemed to waste his time on unrepentant people
<girlpower> why should I repent though if what I feel isn't sinning?

<Starlyte> the whole fact that she came and asked might be her way of calling out

<Starlyte> girl some people have a psychological problem that causes them to
want to kill people...they feel its totally natural
<Starlyte> should they be able to do that as well?

<girlpower> it says thou shall not kill...but it also gives for free will in the bible, as well
<ChikenRob> everyone misses the point
<Starlyte> if we all go by our own instincts on what feels "right" then we have no
basis for our belief
<Starlyte> girl true you have free choice to do what you want...but you aare trying to
make excuses for your sinful actions
<Starlyte> and it can't be done
<ChikenRob> yeah free will to not be repentant and to give up your oppertunity
to live with God eternally and to spend eternity in hell instead
<girlpower> but belief makes us who we are...is hatred, though part of this
belief?

<Starlyte> and I believe that any Christian who hates you for that is wrong...

all the answers and are looking for validation
<Starlyte> we may hate the sin but we should love the sinner

<ChikenRob> if we didn't love sinners we coulden't love anyone
<girlpower> I don't know what I'm really looking for...I do want acceptance, sure,
but I am confused about everything. I'm still very young and don't know much, but
I hate people hating me for something I have little or no control over
<ChikenRob> I have control weather I sleep with women, and so do you
